Our children need all kinds of “waste” to do their activities.  The bigger the choice of materials, the more interesting their pictures/constructions will be.

For Creative Activities

A2, A3or A4, coloured or white paper or card.

Any crepe paper, wrapping paper, ribbons etc

 For water and sand play

Stay-soft and Coke bottles 

 For box construction

Large and small boxes (e.g. toothpaste, cereal, shoe, etc.)

 For collage and montage

Beer boxes and computer boxes (to do collages in)

Wall paper, used gift wrap, ribbons, etc.

Feathers, sea shells, dry grasses, leaves, seeds, seedpods, bark, etc.

Confetti (from punches)

Material, wool, leather, plastic, etc.

Sponges

Buttons

Bottle tops and wine corks

Egg shells and egg boxes

Doilies

Carpet and wallpaper samples (books)

Purity and spice bottles

Toilet rolls

Ice cream tubs (2L and 5L), margarine and other tubs

X-ray films

Just about any “dry rubbish” is good for us.
